This is now another mapa diner, but very good. Great prices, fresh food. Lots of Mediterranean and British food., we went for breakfast. It was plentiful.

This place is the BEST place for fish and chips in London. We had Haddock, mushy peas, and chips (what we Americans call "fries"). The ambiance was fun, with a very 1950s flare. We had to wait some time for a table because the place was hopping (and there wasn't a lot of room for waiting, which made the wait feel crowded). Still, the service was great, the food was excellent, and I would definitely come here again!

Came here over Christmas because it was the only place open for food.
You order and pay at the counter then they bring your food over. From the start service was a bit off. We stood at the counter for ages while the guy taking orders took ages to process the previous customers orders. He just totally ignored us.
I got a bacon sandwich which was quite nice. The bread was from a crusty loaf and the bacon was crispy (as I like it).
I would be willing to come back and hope that the service had improved. -

Great spot for a full English breakfast, if you're in the neighborhood.
That's the big "if," "if you're in the neighborhood." This small diner was between our apartment and the Tube station. So it worked great for us. It's a five minute walk from the Tower Hill tube station, so not completely isolated. But most of the patrons are locals.
I had the full English breakfast, with ham, eggs, baked beans, grilled tomatoes, and fabulous homemade thick toast. Pure English comfort food, and delicious.
They're only open for breakfast and lunch, as one might expect. Good food, good prices, and, for us, good location. -

This place is tucked up Cable Street, not somewhere you would ever walk without a reason to so I want to give it a promo.
The theme is American diner so lots of kitschy decorations and formica tabletops with plastic chairs.
If you're in the mood for a full fry up then this is the place to come. Set breakfasts are pretty cheap for central London with fried eggs, tomato, bacon, sausage, beans, toast and coffee or tea coming to a grand total of £3.70.
This is a great place to eat away a hangover on your way into work!
